Hi experts,
We are working on enabling tamper detection on LS1046ARDB. We have below doubts :
a) Is there any way where we can simulate tamper detect pins without the need of external tamper detection circuitry like use function generator and generate appropriate voltage to drive TA_TMP_DETECT_B pin ?
b) If simulation is not possible , what is the external circuitry(circuit diagram) we need to use and which sensor(Sensor specifications) to use?
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated .
Thank You,

a) No way.
b) The user-defined external tamper detection circuitry needs to maintain the chip's tamper detect inputs at the 1.0V, with the security monitor reacting to a voltage drop in this signal. Detection of an external tamper event is reported in the Security Monitor registers.
Please consider that when not using Trust, tamper detect pins don’t matter.
More details are provided in the QorIQ Trust Architecture 2.1 User Guide which can be reached by creating a Technical Case at:
Thanks for the response,
Referred Trust2.1 document but there are no details of which sensor to use, could you please help us know which sensor to use for tamper detection?
Any sensor can be used.
The only requirement is that detected tamper event will generate voltage drop to ground on corresponding tamper detection input.
