Can someone tell me what happens if the DPPA firmware or the Ethernet Phy firmware gets corrupted in the QSPI Flash? Will U-boot complete the boot operations or exit with a failure? In other words are the binaries protected with a CRC as U-boot itself or not?

Thanks in advance

Hello @DaT63

Hope this post finds you well,

Regarding your question:

Will U-boot complete the boot operations or exit with a failure?

Yes, u-boot complete the boot operations,

In other words are the binaries protected with a CRC as U-boot itself or not?

Yes, it is sectioned protected, nevertheless, it may happen that a specific section may get corrupted.

Only the affected area or section may get corrupted, as I inform you, it is sectioned protected.

Have a great day.
