Hi,

We want to use USB to Mirco SD card IC(USB2244) for storage (not boot).

My question is can I just connect the USB2.0 part (USB1_D_M/P) of the USB3.0 PHYs to USB2244?

Are there any incompatibility issues?

or you can recommend other ICs that can be used?

Thanks.

USB 3.0 is backwards-compatible with USB 2.0.

USB 2.0 device can be connected to USB 3.0 host. There are no problems for this connection.

See USB 3.0 Specification about compatibility to USB 2.0 device.
