Custom board based on LS1046A SoC fails to load the RCW

Dear support team,

We are working on a custom board based on the LS1046A SoC and we are struggling with the RCW booting. We have configured a strap configuration for 16-bit NOR Flash in IFC mode and generated the PBL binary with the Code Warrior utility QCVS.

Our PBL consists of the RCW, 3 PBI commands and the CRC that you can see in the figure above:

RCW:

PBIs:

COMPLETE PBL BINARY:

When loading the PBL we receive the error:

0x72: Byte count is not 64 for RCW or 4 for PBL commands or 1/2/4/8/16/32/64 for pre-boot initialization

commands.

We are capturing the traffic on the IFC bus and observing that the CPU stops fetching information after the first PBI, so we guess that is where the problem is.

We tried almost every Byte ordering we could imagine and we still do not have the right approach.

Could you guide us in what might be the problem?

Best regards.

Would you send me the initial COMPLETE PBL BINARY file(*.bin) to me?
