Hi all,

My LPCXpresso 1343 board fails to connect with the JTAG debugger.
I have searched the LPCXpresso knowledgebase, but that didn't resolve my problem.
I get the following error pop-up window when trying to program the flash memory by means of the Xpresso IDE v3.3.4.

Errors from: 'crt_emu-lpc11_13-nxp -pLPC1343 -info-clock'
Premature end of file,Ni:
LPCXpresso Debug driver v2.0
Et: Failed emulator initialization: E(xx)
FTDI driver load/install error, ftd2xx.dll

Any help I will be highly appriciate!

You appear to be encountering a similar problem to that in the following forum thread...

http://knowledgebase.nxp.com/showthread.php?t=380

And the fact that you see a reference in the error box to FTDI does indicate that the debugger is at this point looking for the Red Probe driver (which should be installed during the LPCXpresso IDE installation process - as long as, if prompted, you allow it).

Can you confirm that if you click on OK in the error box, you then successfully connect to the board?

It looks like it is missing a device driver.

Did you allow the device drivers to install when you installed the LPCXpresso? Can you try reinstalling and make sure the drivers install.

I reinstalled the LPCXpresso IDE, but the problem still exists.
Is there anything else I can do to restore?
