I uploaded some sample code successfully to the my 11u24 dev board.
the sample code works fine but I can't upload any new code no longer.

lpcxpresso ipload errors with 'MEM-AP is not selected'.
How do I unbrick the board?

Was already going down the route with FlashMagic, but that got delayed due to its $WIN$ requirement.
No such things around here, except Linux.

I use lpc21isp for UART ISP under Linux.

...
  powered up the board.
  grounded ISP pin [38 - PIO0.1]
started upload via lpcxpresso, which failed

then grounded RESET pin [4 - PIO0.0], and noticed that led LED2 went to half dim mode.
now upload via lpcxpresso succeeded, but the debuuger did not start.

  removed ISP grounding wire
grounded RESET pin one more time and now the debugger starts up

This is nearly the correct standard 'switch to ISP'...

As shown here:

Note: SPAM-Filter is hating youtube. So we have to change the 'X' to 'e'....

Anyhow, ran across the url today. LPC11U14 - Board recovery using the ISP pin
   http://docs.lpcware.com/lpcopen/v1.03/_l_p_c_o_p_e_n_11_x_x__b_o_a_r_d__x_p_r_e_s_s_o_11_u14.html

Not that this is stating anything much different from the codered instructions. But I thought I give it another spin.

  powered up the board.
  grounded ISP pin [38 - PIO0.1]
started upload via lpcxpresso, which failed

then grounded RESET pin [4 - PIO0.0], and noticed that led LED2 went to half dim mode.
now upload via lpcxpresso succeeded, but the debuuger did not start.

  removed ISP grounding wire
grounded RESET pin one more time and now the debugger starts up

Now the dev board works again, unbricked and I am happy.

Just a warning:
this board got unrogrammable after I succesfully uploaded the sample 'nxp_lpcxpresso_11u14_periph_pinint' (from lpcOpen2.0). The sample worked, but part of the code  puts the 11u14 into deep sleep.  (I think) Maybe that's what renders uploading then obsolote?

any ideas?

I tried both. None of them worked for me.

Then it's time to use UART-ISP and FlashMagic...

Which one? Boot into UART ISP or into MSC?

I heard/read about it, but yet have not been successful to manage it.
I followed NXP LPCxxxx ISP - http://support.code-red-tech.com/CodeRedWiki/DebugAccessChip
But It doesn't work for me. I must be doing something wrong.
