We have legacy code written for LPC2378 that we need to rehost on an LPC4088 (new part on redesigned board).

Just thought I would start here and ask if anybody has opinions on the best approach to begin with?
Has anybody out there gone through this recently?
What are the things/"low hanging fruit" that I should be concerned about first?

I am using IAR EWARM IDE.

Please note that LPC2378 and LPC4088 processors have different memory map, different interfaces and even different ARM cores.
So you need to review all code in point of processor specific.
