CAN_RXD and CAN_TXD are standard I/O's. The device datasheet lists these values: 1. Table 12 specifies an absolute maximum rating for I/O pin of -0.5 to 5.5V. Note that it's only 5V tolerant when the VDD supply voltage is present. 2. Table 16 specifies a high-level output current of 4mA.
Note that CAN_RXD and CAN_TXD are only available on LPC11Cxx devices which do not have the CAN transceiver integrated. LPC11Cxx devices with CAN transceiver integrated have a CANH and CANL pin.
