What are your experiences with the cable length of SWD wires?

Hi,

I want to flash and debug the Controller in my own application. Therefore I want to cut off the lpc-link from the target and use it outside the application for flashing the LPC11xx...

Can anybody tell me how long SWD cables can be? (I mean the 8-pin connection between the lpc-link and target)

Is it possible to get the µC flashed with a cable length of 30cm without additional bus drivers? Or should I just integrate the lpc-link in my own application too and program it over a usb cable?

I made a soldering mistake. After checking all connections it runs.

We are using SWD (4-wire Minimal Connection, 0.35mm twisted) with more than 30cm since several years without problems...
