I am currently using the MBED LPC1768 Microcontroller in a project where I wish to communicate with either MBED studio or a terminal emulator such as CoolTerm however, the device does not communicate at all. At first I though it maybe a programming issue so I tried the same code on a NUCLEO-L476RG and It worked perfectly, both within MBED Studio and in CoolTerm. The code its self quite simply prints "hello" using printf inside an infinite while loop.
Additionally, windows intermittently does not recognise the device however, it does still appear as a storage device and I am still able to run programs that do not utilise printf or make use of the serial libraries found in MBED OS.
I just wondered if there is a solution to this issue?
