Hi guys,

i have a problem with debugging the LPC822 (TSSOP20).
The controller is (it is a brand new controller) connectet to the LPC-Link board which i want to use as debugger.
I had connected the wires as in the pictures.

LPC-Link................. to ...................LPC822
3V3V ..............................................VDD (Pin 15)
GNDX.............................................GND (Pin 16)
JTAG_TMS_SWDIOX....................SWDIO (Pin 8)
JTAG_TCLK_SWCLKX..................SWCLK (Pin 7)
JTAG_RESETX..............................RESET (Pin 5)  (with an 10k pull-up to 3,3V)

[u]As i want to debug (with LPCXpresso) an example code i get the failure messenges in the console:[/u]

Can anybody help me, whats wrong?

Hello,

now, seems it works :)

In addition, i had connect the SWO from LPC-Link with the controllers TDO pin.
but i am struggling with the meaning of the connection SWO to TDO!

Can anybody explain, why it works with SWO :quest:
And when do i need the ISP entry :quest:
In addition a picture of the connections i had done.

Looks like sort of error you get if your target is not correctly powered.
