I perform the same steps in another LPC55S16-EVK , it’s okay in another LPC55S16-EVK , No error occurred

Hello emmt55s16,

Please erase the flash first, using GUI Flash tool

If still can't work,   enter ISP mode using Flash Magic to erase.

Or try to hold on ISP pin when reset board, and do not release until finish debug.

Hi @Alice_Yang , using mimxrt595 and have the same problem, also tried to erase the flash memory through GUI tool, it doesn't detecting the probe (using mcuexpresso IDE and Linux),
Even after entering into the ISP mode, probe is not detecting, Hence i'm not able to erase the flash memory.
