The "Fig 10. Parts with on-chip flash: Memory mapping (overview)" of the LPC43xx user guide Rev 2.1, shows a "8 kB ROM (M0 SERIAL)" section from address 0x1840 0000 to 0x1840 2000. I may have missed something, but I don't see any other reference to this section in the user guide, and I'd like to know what it is used for.
