Has anyone encountered that SPI1 MISO line set to PIN62(P0.8 - FUNC2) is reading back only 0x00 all the time, but with the exact same SPI configuration and SPI1 MISO mapped to P1.18 FUNC5 it works perfectly?
There is no mention about this issue in the errata and the User Manual clearly specifies that PIN62 P0.8 is a valid SPI1 MISO pin for FBD80.
Seems clearly to me it is a HW issue, tried 2 different MCUs and the behaviour is the same. Any help / confirmation would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Alex

Hi Chris,

Thanks a lot, that was it! Excellent attention to details! :) Been looking in the Peripheral View in LPCXpresso and the ADMODE was not mapped in there...I've missed it.
Works perfectly now. Thanks again!

Best regards,
Alex

P.S: Interesting thing that 0.7 is also W type SPI SCK and that works just fine without setting DIGITAL MODE. Maybe because its an output signal..

I looked in the User Manual and noticed that the IOCON settings are different for P0.8 and P1.18. One is type D and the other is type W. e.g. for P1.18 bit 7 should be 0 (reserved) whereas for P0.18 bit 7 should be set to 1 for digital mode.
