Hi,

I have wrongly downloaded LPC2468 firmware in LPC1777 controller using H-Jtag Programmer. After this I am not able to download LPC1777 firmware using JTAG(ULIMK - ME). I am getting JTAG device chain error. Can someone help me in this. Is there any possibility to erase flash and re program?

Regards

I am pretty sure that in ISP mode for the 177x/8x family you need to interface via UART 0.

I use 1778 208 QFP and the pins are Port 0/2 and 0/3.

See your user manual about the ISP commands/pin connections -- or just use FlashMagic. JTAG or SWD is not involved here.

HTH Mike.

Hi MC,

Thanks for your reply. I tried the same LOW on pin P2[10] while RESET is LOW. Now I am getting error that  no cortex device found, Check the JTAG or Connection. Please guide me in this.

Hi AnandD,
Put device in ISP mode and try to erase/program device. A LOW on pin P2[10] while RESET is LOW forces the on-chip boot loader to
take over control of the part after a reset and go into ISP mode
