Binaries compiled for LPC4078FBD208 to run on the LPC4088FBD208?

Can the binaries compiled for LPC4078FBD208 can run without change on the LPC4088FBD208?

The only difference is LCD module, but just wonder if there are any specific settings to the pinmux can be affected?

All LCD pins are muxed with other functions like UARTS, GPIOs , etc.

Mostly LCD pins are on ports P0, P1, P2 and P4 (P0, P1 and P4 ard LCD data and P2 has some Data and LCD-specific functions like SYNC, PWR, DCLK, etc

The pinout is pretty much the same with LPC4088 just having additional functionality on P0-P4 pins related to LCD control.

HI

LPC40XX series production only have one die.

We can use LPC4088FBD20as drop in replacement for LPC4078FBD20. 

The major difference is that LPC4088 supports LCD while LPC4078 not.

NXP demo code for LPC40xx is lpcopen, LPC4078 project can work on LPC4088 directly.

LPC4078 bin file can be loaded to 4088 directly.
