What's the recommended way to upgrade KSDK (with KDE)?

I'm a bit confused as to the difference in pointing eclipse to the zip file located in the KSDK tools/eclipse_update folder and using Freescale's KDS Update Site for other updates.

I figure that KSDK doesn't have an online update repository and hence why we use the zip file, while KDE does?

Here's what I currently see for available updates (Processor Expert, MQX RTOS, etc.) in my KDE Update screen:

So is the recommended way to upgrade KSDK is to download it from the freescale website and point it to the zip file? And then change my KSDK path in my eclipse project?

Or is there a way to do it via KDE?

Hello Raj,

Try to update by this way please:

ksdk_1.3.png

after that

update2.jpg

I´m attaching you the procedure which is described in this guide, Installing Kinetis SDK into KDS, page 63

Also similar post which I found Is partial KDSK1.3 update in KDS300 safe?

Please let me know, if you solve your issue.
