Kinetis’s I2C is targeted for compliance to I2C specifications for standard (100kHz) and fast mode (400kHz).
The maximum communication length and the number of devices that can be connected are limited by a maximum bus capacitance of 400 pF.
Although Kinetis's I2C is capable of operating at higher baud rates, up to a maximum of (bus clock/20) with reduced bus loading, it does not have a special circuit to pull up the SCL and SDA lines to achieve high speed mode (up to 3.4MHz) compliance.
