I am trying to get the xpresso sample code to run for the nxp-nci example on a frdm k64f board interfacing with a om5578/pn7150. The problem 7150 board isn't recognised as the response to the reset command 0x20 0x00 0x01 0x01 is in correct it just comes back as all zeros. As I haven't changed the code in anyway what so ever I am wondering why there isno/an incorrect response.

Yes I have both those the problem is I am thrying to run the NXPNCI_K64F_example but when the reset command is sent (0x20, 0x00, 0x01, 0x01) although the bytes are ack'ed and the IRQ line goes high the answer that comes back is all 0x00 and not a first byte of 0x40. I have it set up for the RW_SUPPORT configuration.

Hi @shane_mitchell ,

I am sorry but I could not reproduce your issue here, the project works well as expected, please kindly have my result as below:

BTW, did you use

OM5578/PN7150ARDM

with FRDM-K64 ? They can be connected each other via the Arduino interface.

Have a great day,
Kan

Hi

shane_mitchell_0-1637658188696.png

these are the settings I am using the reply I get is

shane_mitchell_1-1637658503427.png

The OM5778 is plugged directly on to the nxp frm k64f board with no modifications I am programming via the usb port next to the reset button. Is there anything with the set up that needs changing.

KR

Shane

Hi @shane_mitchell ,

Is your project a custom project? The project name as well as the symbols are totally different from the released version.

Please kindly clarify.

I have been looking in to this further and found that the interrupt isn't firing although the IRQ line does go high.

No it is no a standard frm k64f board with a om5578 plugged on top. I had a project and just imported the file system from the example for the nxpnc_k64f

Hi @shane_mitchell ,

You may run the released example at first to check if it works as expected on your custom board, then start to check if there is porting issue with your custom project.

Hope that helps,

Have a great day,
Kan
