mkv31, safety PWM state while rebooting

Well, i got a power converter solution built upon mkv31f128.

But there is a problem-while booting pins that controlls H-brige ringing. That causes periodically the system blow and about 20$ loss to repair it. And of course we can't sell such a product.

So i have a question: are there any fuses/registers that controls states of pins in the boot time before been configured? (at least I can remember such tool on other vendors)

P.S.: Now we solves that problem by introducing time delay before power up power stage but it cost additional money.

Best regards,

Alexey.

Hi, Alexey,

As you know that the PWM signals output logic are indeterminate during and after reset, I suggest you connect a pull-down resistor on the PWM output pins so that the PWM can output low logic before you initialize the PWM(FTM ) module.

Most of the PWM pins are input or disabled(float) during and after Reset, so they will become low if you connect pull-down resistor.

Hope it can help you
