Hi

I wanted to work on TWR-K70F12M also has an "MK70FN1M0xxx12" custom board. I wanted to use MCUExpresso IDE for application development.

When I tried to search the development board as well as the controller I was not able to find it. I really want to know that why both of them are not listed in the MCUExpresso IDE as well as in the MCUXpresso Config Tools v9 application?

Here I'm attaching few snaps as well.

Any help will be really appreciated.

You might consider using Kinetis Design Studio (KDS) with Processor Expert.

This is what I do in my K60/K70 designs (see https://mcuoneclipse.com/2013/10/27/usb-with-the-twr-k60f120m-and-twr-k70f120m/ ), although legacy. I can use this with the NXP MCUXpresso IDE too (requires a base project and then use the files or install Processor Expert into it).

What I otherwise would recommend is the uTasker project which supports K70 too:

https://www.utasker.com/kinetis.html

I hope this helps,

Erich

I just looked at  MCUXpresso SDK Builder 10 and couldn't find either the Tower board or the part.

I'm curious about that as well.  I thought all active parts had SDKs available (I did check and the two parts are listed as "active" on Digi-Key).

If you search for "nxp k70 not supported by SDK" you should fine several threads and discussions on this topic in this forum, for example:

https://community.nxp.com/t5/MCUXpresso-SDK/Where-can-I-get-KSDK-for-MCU-MK61FX512/td-p/906010

Not sure if there is a newer update.

Hello

Thanks for your reply. I visited the link you suggested. I'm more disappointed now because I got to know that they are not planning to support K70 SDK.
