I have been attempting to use the KinetisFlashTool.exe tool from the Bootloader version 2.0.0
Located at:
\NXP_Kinetis_Bootloader_2_0_0\bin\Tools\KinetisFlashTool\win
When I compile the following demo :
\NXP_Kinetis_Bootloader_2_0_0\apps\led_demo\MK64F12\kds\led_demo_freedom_a000
and create a .bin file, and try to update the board with it,
In the Log window of the dialog I see this:
Connected to device successfully!
Collecting device information......
Device information is updated!
Start update progress......
Updating image......
Error: Update image failed(kStatusMemoryRangeInvalid).
Update process is stopped by error.
I have tried the various file formats such as srec and hex and also set the target address to 0xa000
And also tried the same demo that's targetd to 0x0000
But in all cases, I receive the above error. I am using the USB HID interface.
Has anyone successfully tested the KinetisFlashTool out of the box and can advise if it works?
