Send byte from Arduino to TWR-K53N512 and viseversa.

Dear Freescale experts,

I have a legacy platform (Arduino) that needs to communicate with TWR-K53N512's serial port. But despite my efforts I can not make TWR-K53N512 to receive data from Arduino.

I am using the 'Electrocardiograph and Heart Rate Monitor Application' (http://goo.gl/SXq5rz​) running on TWR-K53N512 but when I send bytes from Arduino ( [0x52, 0x12] ), the tower does not seem to receive the data as there is no response back from the tower. I am using the following configuration for the communication.

Bits per second: 115200

Data bits: 8

Parity: None

Stop bits: 1

Flow Control: None

¿Any ideas of why this is happening?

Hello Omar,

Could you please tell me how you are connecting TWR and ARDUINO platforms? We need to corroborate that you are configuring UART pins correctly.

Hello Omar,

I recommend you first tests the  transfer function of TWR-K53 board with PC ,

check whether it can work well .

The tower is working fine with PC. The problem appears when connected to the Arduino.
