Need a soln, K20 updating s19 file in 9s08 device

For an interesting customer need, could we implement the FRDM type solution where the K20 supports MSD and instead of updating a Kinetis L it would instead update a 9s08?  Should I go third party to someone like PEMicro for this?

There are some options, customer is currently looking at serial

bootloader example.

I suggest the customer to implement in-circuit-programming in 9S08. K20 gets data from MSD and programs the 9s08 through SCI or I2C, etc..
