LCD type and Max LCD resolution that KL81 and K81 can support

Hello,

We're planning to mobile POS terminal with KL81 and K81 secure MCU.

We'd like to the LCD Type(RGB I/F or something else) and LCD Max resolution that KL81 and K81 can support.

I hope you are doing well!

Both KL8x and K8x families do not have a dedicated LCD controller module, however they can drive LCDs using the Kinetis FlexIO peripheral. 

The maximum resolution display, color depth and pixel clock frequencies should be estimated considering FlexIO module Bus bandwidth and the LCD setup.  Please review  the AN5280 Using Kinetis FlexIO to Drive a Graphical LCD section FlexIO_LCD Bus Bandwidth Performance  to take a look at the technical details involved.

For example in the AN5280  The implementation of the TWRLCD-RGB module  is demonstrated. This module includes a 480 x 272 graphical TFT LCD.
