There's some documentation related to LVD in the KW36Z's reference manual, it can be found in chapter 7.2.2.2, and it offers some descriptions about the registers related to this functionality.
Additionally, AN4503 has some additional information about the low power modes in Kinetis MCUs, as well as some information about extra features like Low-Power detection.
And there's also a section in the Wireless Connectivity Framework User Manual which describes the macros that can be changed to enable LVD on BLE SDK examples. This information can be found in chapter 3.15, and the document itself is included in the SDK archive, in the following path:
