Hi,

 

I am testing KV58 minimum system for now. And have the following questions:

I make a kv58 minimum system board refernce TWR-KV58F220M-SCH.pdf, But it generate great heat when I make it work on 237.5MHz.  Is It Normal?

Hi, LiShuang,

Pls check the mask of KV58 which you are using, for example, on my TWR-KV58F220M board, the chip PKV58F1M0VLQ22 is used, the last number "22" is is the chip rated frequency, in other words, it can only run in 220mHz rather than 240MHz. If the last two number is "24", which means that the chip can run in 240mhz.

Pls change the MCG so that it can run in 220MHz instead of 240mhz.
