Dear Kinetis L ,

KL04 RM (page 119):

http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/ref_manual/KL04P48M48SF1RM.pdf?fpsp=1&WT_TYPE=Reference Manuals&WT_VENDOR=FREESCALE&WT_FILE_FORMAT=pdf&WT_ASSET=Documentation&Parent_nodeId=1339519439021722350580&Parent_pageType=product

Can you help me confirm whether the bit definition is correct?

NMI_DIS  :  “1”   NMI interrupt reset enabled.

I think  “1” should be disabled and not enabled.

Please help me verify with the designer.

Thx,

hy

Hi Hy,

The FTFA_FOPT config byte is located at flash address 0x40D, which set "1" to enable NMI function in FTFA_FOPT register to make sure 0x40C default value 0xFF make NMI function enabled.

Wish it helps.

B.R.

The definition in the reference manual is correct - a "1" means the NMI function is enabled, a "0" means the NMI function is disabled.
