Hello,

Is it possible to control 2 BLDC (each with 2 shunts) with FOC with KV4x?

I saw that KV5x will. But with KV4x?

I need acctually PWM for 3 phase predriver for 2 BLDC. So the signals input for 6 Mosfets pre-driver for the first motor and 6 Mosfets pre-driver for the second.

I also need to sample current on two shunts on each motor. I wonder if with only 2 ADC from the KV4x series it is possible to sample on one motor and then the other dynamically.

Is it possible to trigger them in center aligned PWM on each motor?

Is the KV5x arriving soon?

Sincerly,

Hi, Simon

Yes, you can use KV4x series MCU for two BLDC FOC control. As you know, the peripherals are enough using both KV4x and KV5x. My suggestion for you is using KV4x 150MHz product for your application.

From ADC, I think two channels is OK.

Hope my reply can help you.

Best Regards

Paul
