Hexiwear - shutting off randomly with no way to turn back on?

Hello!

I'm getting an issue with the Hexiwear platform in which it shuts down randomly during operation (with a near full battery). There is no way to get the display, bluetooth transmission, and sensors etc. to work again unless I connect the Hexiwear to a development board and perform a hard reset.

Any solutions or workarounds to this?
