Hello,
Does FlexBus supports (seamless) decryption for code execution on external flash?
Especially for the K6x series. I read that code execution from flexbus is possible, but can it be encrypted?
Thank you,
Best Regards,
Benjamin

Hi,
Kinetis Flexbus doesn't has seamless decryption for code execution on external flash.
Customer could select i.MX RT series product, such as RT1060 which support this feature.
Have a great day,
Mike

Hi,
Thank you, the i.MX RT series seems to fit our needs. One thing I couldn't find definitive answer for though: can I use JTAG to download and debug code to/from the external flash on FlexSPI/QSPI (which supports on-the-fly decryption)?
Is there any reference document on FlexSPI/QSPI usage with encryption?
Also, does any of the LPC series have external flash with encryption support (with code execution, etc)?
Thank you,
Best Regards,
Benjamin
Hi Benjiamin,
Please post a new question thread at i.MX product sub-community about FlexSPI/QSPI security application. Thanks for understanding.
I know LPC5500 has this feature with internal Flash.
Have a great day,
Mike
