When i plug the FRDM-KL46Z into my Windows 8.1, 64-bit computer using the OpenSDA USB port the FRDM does not show up as a storage drive like the quick start manual says that it should.

Hi Matt,

This may be related with the bootloader and firmware version on you board, support for Windows 8/8.1 was added to Bootloader version 1.11 and MSD firmware version 1.14. Please make sure that your board is programmed with Bootloader version 1.11 or higher prior to attempting to update your OpenSDA board with a new firmware application.
