Hi Team,

We are using MKE18F512VLH16 controller for our program. We have configured LPIT channel 1 and channel 0 in chain mode to measure the time (64-bit). Since we do not need any interrupt for these channel, interrupt is disabled for both channel. We are reading CVAL of the both channel to measure the time between two points or to add particular delay.

As per errata ERR050181 reading CVAL does not give correct value, so I have some questions as below to mitigate the issue.

1. Does CVAL reading always give incorrect value or issue is intermittent. If so, what is probability of it's occurrence.

2. As per mitigation provided in errata, CVAL should be read during an LPIT interrupt service routine, but for our program, interrupt is not required so it is disabled. Is there any other mitigation approach available ?
