Processor Expert Library mode not working - platform_lib

I believe that the "platform_lib" library mode in the Processor Expert KSDK settings (see below) is not working.  I have created a project with and without this selected and I see no difference in the files that are copied or linked from the KSDK.  Even with this option selected, all of the fsl_*_driver files are still copied into my PE project.  Has anyone used this with success?

Note that I am using KDS 3.0 with KSDK 1.2.

I see the same behavior and I reported it already (ticket PEXMCU-3748).

I will let you know about any feedback I receive from the Processor Expert development team.
