Mcu MKE2Z64  runs in debug mode but not standalone

Hi,

I am using Kinetis Design Studio V3.2, MKE2Z64 , no operating sistem, GNU compiler, custom board.

If my program is larger than 8 kb the mcu runs only when debugger (MultilinkUniversal) is connected and debugging. In standalone mode the mcu does not start up at all. I have checked :MK10DX256VLK7 doesn't run standalone, just when debugging. Verified it's running from FLASH, not RAM...

but cannot find "Librarian" inside my KDS V3.2.

Is there any solution to this behavior?

Best regards,

Florijan

Hello Florijan,

Have you test one simple project , for example one LED.

If it still can not work ,you can send your project to me , i

will check it on my side , then be sure the problem is software or hardware.

Hope it helps

Hi Alice,

no I didn't try simple project, I have a complex project and I couldn't locate the problem. I was disabling parts of the code and my impression is there must be some setting or internal states of compiler or KDS enviroment. The same project runs in CodeWarrior 10.6 on the shame ciruit board without problems. For now I will use CodeWarrior10.6.

Best regards,
