KDS_1.0 Linux: linker file is always for KL25Z

In Linux, whenever I create a new project (e.g. K20DX256) with no SDK and no PE, my LinkerFile.ld is for the wrong device: KL25Z.

If I use PE, then I am OK, but I really do not want all that dead weight in my project. Is there an easy fix?

Hi Rod,

yes, this has been identified as known issue (see Release Notes section in this forum), and does apply to all platforms. The 'easy' fix is to take an existing linker file for K20DX256 (e.g. create a project with PEx and copy that linker file).
