Hi,
I'm trying to import a project originally created in CW10.6 into KDS v3.2.0 but no success. I keep getting the following warning messages.
Under the project properties for C/C++ Build, i have the following warning and the tool settings empty.
Could someone let me know how i can fix this please?
Thank you.
DJ
As I said the issue is not that simple!
There are many headers that are specific to CW that is not compatible to this new KDS environment.
I am getting errors even importing the examples - could we import the examples direct?
Also copy the .project file to the project method is not working in KDS?
Hi
If you need a fast and guaranteed solution for commerical work you can contact http://www.utasker.com/support.html where CW to KDS project conversions can be made for you for a small fee.

Hi,
I'd recommend to create new project in KDS using New Project Wizard and then add sources you want to build. That's probably easiest way how to do it.

Hi Devan
CW and KDS are not compatible - there may be some method of modifying the projects of one to become compatible with the other IDE but is is probably easiest to just create a new project in KDS.
The uTasker projet maintains two project sets so that both KDS and CW can be used interchangeably - see http://www.utasker.com/kinetis/compilers.html#KDS
which works fine although may not be the simplest solution....

This means KDS doesn't s provide a good migration path for CW projects.
How do you handle the headers that are specific to CW that is not compatible to this new KDS environment?
