Sorry, I did not realize that you were using 120 MHz K60 MCU, in this case you have to choose the processor of TWR board, in this case MK60FN10xxx12:

This case occurs  because TWRK60F120M is not supported in SDK.

Hi Jorge,

We would like to develop a hardware and software project based on uP MK60FX512VLQ12,
especially because it integrates EEPROM / FlexRam 16KB.

For this device the evaluation board  is TWR-K60F120M (see KINETISKMCUSELGD guide page 18 and page 24).

This card mounts MK60FN1M0VD12, in this uP is not present the 'EEPROM / FlexRam.
In the development system Kinetis Design Studio is not possible select TWR-K60F120M,
but we can create a project with the MK60FN1M0xxx12 device.

1) If we develop the project with Kinetis Design Studio with device MK60FN1M0xxx12
     we can transfer it and test it on the TWR-EVB K60F120M?

2) What do you suggest as an alternative to evaluate the MK60FX512VLQ12 before
   realize the hardware?

TWR-K60F120M actually uses MK60FN1M0VLQ12, and since you have a MK60FX512VLQ12, both of them have same features, with the differences of 'N/X' and '1M0/512' witch mean:

In KDS (Kinetis Design Studio) you should have to select MK60FX512xxx12, not MK60FN1M0xxx12

Do you want to create a new project or import a existing project?

If you want to create a new project you just have to go file->new Kinetis SDK 1.x project, name your project, choose your board (TWRK60F120M), select processor expert and SDK if used and finish. if you want to import a project you have to go file->import...General->Existing Projects into Workspace->Select root directory and finish.

I recommend you to check the KDS_Users_Guide.pdf that is located in the installation path of KDS_v3/doc chapter 2 Working with Projects explain how to create and import projects in KDS
