Can I use MCUXpresso v10.3.1 on Linux to compile PX4 code?

Has anyone succesfully installed MCUXpresso v10.3.1 on Linux? I've attempted all manner of manual hackery, so far to no available?

I used a VirtualBox environment in Linux ( a linux machine hosting a linux virtual machine). You get the MCUXpresso pre-installed that way.
