What is the default working mode of the MC33664 when it is powered on?

Hi,

   Can the MC33664 enter normal mode by pulling up the EN pin directly after power-up? Or is it that after the MC33664 is powered on, it defaults to sleep mode, and it needs to be woken up into normal mode through the wake-up sequence.
