I am using the CAN analyzer from Chuangxin Technology. Its .dll file is correct and it can successfully connect to USB_CAN_TOOL. However, when I try to connect this CAN analyzer to freeMASTER 2.0, as shown in the picture, it indicates that the driver is not found. I have checked this help thread(已解决: ZLG communication problem - NXP Community) and tried the solutions provided in the post, but they did not work. Could you please tell me how to solve this problem?
Hello,
FreeMASTER 2.0 is quite outdated, so the first step I would recommend is to install the latest version 3.2.5 from www.nxp.com/freemaster. Note that the plug-ins installed with the latest version will (should) work automatically back in old FreeMASTER 2.0 too.
For ZLG, there are two kinds of user drivers that ZLG recommends to use. Even the FreeMASTER 3.2.5 only supports one of them. It may happen that some latest ZLG devices will not work here. Especially the ZLG CAN-FD devices require the other driver.
FreeMASTER 3.2.6 will bring support both ZLG drivers, so the legacy and new CAN/CAN-FD devices will work well. Version 3.2.6 shall be out by end of November.
Regards,
Michal
