Hi @GanesanGuru,

Are there any logs you could share (the installer saves them in "FreeMASTER Lite 1.2\_FreeMASTER_Lite_installation\Logs" folder) ? Or it fails without printing any logs ?

Unfortunately, this is error is thrown by the JVM while invoking the licensing library (libcll_app_libFNP.so):

Command.run(): java:stdout [# A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:]
Command.run(): java:stdout [#]
Command.run(): java:stdout [#  SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00007fc9b7aecfd2, pid=11037, tid=11046]
Command.run(): java:stdout [#]
Command.run(): java:stdout [# JRE version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (17.0.6+9) (build 17.0.6+9-LTS-190)]
Command.run(): java:stdout [# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (17.0.6+9-LTS-190, mixed mode, sharing, tiered, compressed oops, compressed class ptrs, g1 gc, linux-amd64)]
Command.run(): java:stdout [# Problematic frame:]
Command.run(): java:stdout [# C  [libcll_app_libFNP.so+0x854fd2]]

so far we had one single similar case and could not reproduce it on our side using same software setup (Linux & Java versions).

Unfortunately, in this case I can recommend running FreeMASTER Lite in a virtual machine.

Hi @iulian_stan ,

As your suggestion - "Unfortunately, in this case I can recommend running FreeMASTER Lite in a virtual machine" - can you elaborate those in futher? As I already have already installed these in my machine!

Output of java -version:
java version "17.0.6" 2023-01-17 LTS
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 17.0.6+9-LTS-190)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 17.0.6+9-LTS-190, mixed mode, sharing)

What I mean is that you can run a "guest" VM (not JVM) on your "host" using a hypervisor (le.g. VirtualBox).
Inside that VM you can install FreeMASTER Lite.
