Hi guys,

I just want to ask if the negative voltage(part of the square waveform) is acceptable to the pin of the comparator inside the DSP (MC56F82748VLH). If yes, is there any effect on having a negative voltage input? Do the comparator would reset through time because of this negative voltage?

Thank you

Hi, Kien,

Pls refer to the following Table 5 in data sheet of MC56F827xx, the analog voltage absolute range is from -0.4V to 4.0V for the ADC analog channel pin and Comparator input pin, if the voltage is out of the range, the chip may be damaged.

The voltage operating range of Comparator input pin is from GND to VDDA.

Hope it can help you
