updated BSP for m54455evb?

I am using the m54455evb BSP, dated 20071214. 

I see from the release notes that there are a number of known issues.  Specifically, Bug 858: ethernet performance, Bug 972: uart dma, Bug 974: hrtimer disabled. 

Are there any plans to resolve these issues? 

Also, has anyone attempted to upgrade this kernel from 2.6.23 to 2.6.23.17?  I patched it without problems, but have not tested it fully.

Jim,

There are definitely plans to resolve these issues (and others).  Currently there isn't a definitive date for the release of an updated BSP.

As for upgrading to 2.6.23-17 -- I haven't tried but I'm not aware of anything that should break.
