First I registered the Codewarrior development suite -standard edition with registration code what we received when we purchased the license , after registration i got mail shown below.
- Go to the software product page by clicking the software account link in this email.
- Select the product you want to license and/or install.
- Download and install the product if you don't already have it installed.
- Go to the Licenses Keys tab of the product.
- Select the item you want to generate a license for and click Generate.
- Complete the requested information and click Generate.
- Save the license file, license.dat, to your software installations as directed within the QuickStart Activation Guide.
So, finally i got license.dat file , and placed in C:/freescale/cw.. path , my question , how do i find .dat file has been used , previously i installed trial version Codewarrior software , should i re-install ? or is it fine to keep same software and run, if so how do i confirm it is using same .dat file which is placed in C:/Freescale/cw.. can same .dat file can be used in multiple client machine ? Please let me know
