Hi,

 

Can a single 16 data bit Micron Sdr Sdram (12 row x 8 col x 4 banks) work with MCF5373 which only

lists in the user manual (11 row x 9 col x 4 banks) as the lowest memory size supported?

Hi,

 

Yes it can be supported, the minimum you mentioned is the lowest memory that can be support, but not the maximum, in the reference manua, you can see the SDRAM controller can support up to 256Mbyte for one chip select. And the device you mentioned is below this maximum.

 

Supports up to 512 MByte of memory.
— 24/25 bits RA+CA, 2 bits BA, 32/16-bit bus, two chip selects
