I need an Ethernet port and 2.5 volt IO, SPI I/F and RS232 I/F

Hello,

I need to find an Embedded processor that is similar to the mcf52233 (the ethernet connectivity is really what I need) but with 2.5 volt capable IO. I am interfacing to 2.5 volt chips and would dislike having to use voltage translators to interface to them.  Perhaps someone has a suggestion?  Freescale or similar.  I'd prefer to not use the Ubicom (although I love the IP2022 - the development package is too expensive).  

So to sum it up:

Ethernet connectivity

2.5 volt IO

I will be using SPI flash and RS232 -Via a level translator (I don't require the processor to have this built in)

I think if you restrict yourself to devices with 2.5V I/O you will be making a poor tradeoff.   2.5V<->3.3V level translation can be very simple depending on the requirements.   How many lines?  Bidirectional?  How fast?  What kind of load? 

I'm a hardware guy, but with any kind of network project the VAST majority of the work is related to network software.  Make the right software choice there and don't worry about a little bit of level translation.

The real problem is the 2.31 volts that the Freescale needs for Vihmin.  Most of my 2.5 volt devices have Vohmin = 2.1 volts.   I can use level a translator on these lines to fix that such as the txb0106 TI part.  It is bi-directional, and 3 of my lines need to be bi-directional.  Never used the txb0106 but it looks like it will work.

I just wanted to know if I was overlooking an obvious choice that would prevent me from needing the translator.
