CW 10.1.5 to CW 10.2.1

I used to have CW 10.1.5 for MSC8156EVM. To support support 8157ADS, I download CW 10.2.1. After install the SW and try to build existed 8156EVM project using 10.2.1. The compile complain "Could not allocate stack section for core c0. Stack not set. It must be set by user", but same project pass the build under 10.1.5. What is missed here? Thank you for any comments.

Hello

Basically there was an extension in the linker that requires now a section stack and a section heap to be explicitly specified in the linker file.

Note that you only get a warning message here. So you should be able to link and execute your application.

You can refer to AN4260 on www.freescale.com for more information on how to remove that warning.

Just search for AN4260 there. Once you have downloaded the AN, check section 2. The code snippet in the AN refers to an SDOS linker file but the same modification can be applied to any l3k file.
