Where to find patch from CW 6.3 to CW 6.4

Good day all,
I was curious as to where one could find the update/patch files to update from CW 6.3 Professional to CW 6.4.   Although we have a fully registered version of CW 6.3, we do not seem to be receiving any updates from CW and/or freescale with regards to these patches.  Sadly, we are not the only ones experiencing this lack of communication, as one of my customers has the same issue.

Hello Sam,

It's really easy to be updated.
You just have to select the right items in your "interest subscription".

Every week, I receive an email with everything that moved on my particular product.

There is probably no patch to got from 6.3 to 6.4 but you have to download the full 6.4 and use the same license file.
This has been discussed a few times here and also recently.

I'll just confirm what Alfred said here. If you've got a valid CW ColdFire 6.3 license (stored in the license.dat file), just download the CW 6.4 version, place the license.dat file into the CodeWarrior directory, and you should be set. Be sure to save the license.dat file somewhere safe before doing the uninstalls and installs.

Thank you both for your prompt responses!  Sadly, the only items that I could find on the freescale website to download are upgrade patches to CW 6.3 or the special Edition version of CW 6.4.  With my Ver 6.3 Professional license file used with the SE version of CW 6.4 be "unlocked" to the professional edition?  Or is there another location for the CW 6.4 Professional?

Hi,

The difference between a Special Edition and a Professional Edition is the license file.
Special Edition means the Free one with limitations.

You paid for version 6.x Professional and your license file gives all CodeWarrior 6.* versions as PRO.
