I downloaded the eclipse version of Code warrior and wanted to know if it will work with my controller MPC5604B. If yes, why do we have a parallel development for CodeWarrior IDE?

CodeWarrior for MCU Eclipse v10.1 supports following Qorivva processors:

Qorivva MPC56xx

• MPC560xP: Qorivva 32-bit MCU for Chassis Applications
• MPC567xK: Qorivva 32-bit Microcontroller for ADAS Applications
• MPC564xL: Qorivva 32-bit MCU for Chassis and Safety Applications

So MPC5604B does not seem to be supported there.
